XYLOCAINE

He was a founding member of the hardcore trio Nasenbluten. Xylocaine is known for intense, chaotic, and aggressive audio collages. Tracks have been built using old Amiga computers, PCs, Samplers, Trackers, found objects, occult electronics, wooden implements, cask wine and the power of friendship. SUB_URBANE

sub_urbane is a charismatic but deeply flawed 1952 New Your City shoe salesman and aspiring professional table tennis player. Driven by relentless ambition, sub_urbane steals money to fund its trip to 1930s Chicago to seek the aid of Dr. Euphronius in creating a companion for itself from the reinvigorated corpse of a murdered young woman. As the new creation goes far beyond what anyone intended, sub_urbane must navigate a chaotic web of reckless hustles, a combustible romance, the attention of the police, and a wild, radical social movement with severe personal consequences.  On the review aggregator website Rotten Tomatoes, 57% of 328 critics’ reviews are positive, with an average rating of 5.8/10. The website’s consensus reads: “Concocted with all the restraint of a mad scientist’s experiment, sub_urbane serves up Timothée Chalamet in so many different creative directions that the overall effect is both sloppy and inspired”. sub_urbane is also a well-known Polka fancier and president of the Mayfield West chapter of the Britney Spears Fanclub.

Nyx aims to bring the euphoric, freeing and soul liberating music which is Electronic Hardcore to the newer generation while staying true to the classic Hardcore style.

SPIDERGRIND

Constructed in and around 1997, The Spider is an occasional musical instrument that is played by holding a largeish angle grinder against the faceplate. The act of playing the spider is called a “Spidergrind”. Spidergrind occurred once each year from 1997 to 2004 (inclusive), with each occurance lasting until Huck’s arms got shaky and he had to stop so he didn’t lop off a vital human appendage (it’s usually about three to five minutes). The spider has decided it needs to be played again, so this will happen on the bowling green, sometime in the evening. It will be loud. There will be sparks. Then, back to dancing!
